It's Alive!
Well you see, my brothers both have completely BUSTED DS Lites. Mine being the only survivor, I figured, why not make those things useful again. The DS' were broken beyond repair, hanging on only by their wires. So using my extreme technological skills, I cut the top off with a knife. After a bit of editing, and the removal of all DS related features, I present to you: The Game Boy Advance Lite!
Wa-la! I know it isn't looking its best right now, but the thing stopping it from looking stylish is the annoying bump where the top wires were connected. It is almost impossible to get rid of without the risk of removal of the L button.
Pros:
- Lighter than any other portable GBA system
- Have you ever seen a gameboy with X and Y buttons?
- Layout is nice
- Works!
Cons:
- At times, the game won't start up, but is rare and can easily be fixed by resetting
- No sound obviously: The only way to hear it is by use of headphones
- Not too stylish I must say (I actually regret not using my brother's black and blue DS, as the result would look nicer)
- Freezed once when I banged it: I'm not going to try again to find out, but if you drop it, my guess is it will probably freeze
- Only turns on with a game inside
- No cover
