Which trilogy is better? Entry posted by Rarity July 25, 2012 1,015 views Share
 Followers 0 Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, or Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy?
Bundalings Posted July 25, 2012 I didn't care for the Spider Man movies, honestly. I haven't seen TDKR yet but the other two I definitely much prefer. Why? Quote Link to comment
Xaeraz Posted July 25, 2012 Nolan's trilogy is just overall better. The Spiderman movies suffered from several weak points in each, but Dark Knight was very strong throughout each movie. Quote Link to comment
Jean Valjean Posted July 25, 2012 Is this seriously a question? The Dark Knight, by lightyears. Although it comes in third behind Back to the Future and Toy Story Merida. Quote Link to comment
Sisen Posted July 25, 2012 I really wouldn't even consider Spiderman a trilogy after that third movie... Quote Link to comment
Grant-Sud Posted July 25, 2012 Yeah Nolan's. Don't get me wrong the first two spider man movies were great, but the last one just wasn't impressive enough. And The Dark Knight Trilogy is insanely deep man. Quote Link to comment
D-D-D-Ddude Posted July 25, 2012 Personally I vote for the Metroid Prime Trilogy. Quote Link to comment
Dorek Posted July 25, 2012 Nolan's definitely takes the cake on that one, but it's tough to compare the two. Nolan took us to some pretty dark places... Raimi wasn't willing to go that far. Quote Link to comment
Jean Valjean Posted July 25, 2012 Not a fan of either, so I vote Lord of the Rings. How could I forget? The Dark Knight comes in fourth, then. So sorry, Mr. Nolan. Merida Quote Link to comment
Eeko Posted July 25, 2012 You're all wrong.Clearly, The Matrix is the greatest trilogy ever made. Quote Link to comment
Xaeraz Posted July 25, 2012 How are you all forgetting the Alien trilogy? That's some of the best movies ever. Quote Link to comment
Voltex Posted July 25, 2012 Not a fan of either, so I vote Lord of the Rings. =O Outrageous! One does not simply "dislike" Nolan's Batman! [/jokes] Quote Link to comment
dviddy Posted July 25, 2012 There is only one "Trilogy". It is called Star Wars and it is the reason your other blockbuster movie series even exist. Also, the Raimi Spider-Man films are okay, but they are poor representations of Spider-Man (I still love them). I haven't seen the new Batman film yet, but I prefer the superhero movies that take themselves a little less seriously. That's why I prefer the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Quote Link to comment
BioGio Posted July 26, 2012 ITT: People who only watch Hollywood blockbusters. Probably the best trilogy that I can think of (off the top of my head) is The Three Colors Trilogy by Krzysztof Kieslowski. (Also, I agree with DeeVee and xccj on just about everything.) Quote Link to comment
Janus Posted July 26, 2012 Batman is leagues ahead of Spider-Man. But if the Amazing Spider-Man turns into a trilogy I may just revise that statement. Quote Link to comment
