I'd seen this vector before in a picture from a Hasbro event, but I believe this is the first time it's been featured in merchandise.

I know a lot of bronies will be up in arms, but if this does come to pass I have little problem with it. After all, my headcanon has always been that alicorns are not a natural pony race, but rather magically created to serve as rulers who are not partial to any one race of ponies (as it would explain the lack of Alicorn rulers prior to the first Hearths Warming as well as neatly avoiding the implication that they're some sort of "master race"). Of course, if the way it comes to pass turns out to be too contrived or illogical, I might still be angry, but the idea of Twilight becoming an alicorn, by itself, fails to rustle my jimmies.

I think I'll be alright with it IF that's actually her (maybe soon to be canon) alicorn look. The bigger Celestia/Luna alicorn body just doesn't suit Twily's colours, IMO.
