... dang I really ought to get a compiler, just typing random stuff isn't nearly as much fun as attempting to try it out ^^"

But yeah, this semester (term? I really have no idea what it's called. This half of the year, that is) I also have an informatics class, where we're learning to do stuff with Fortran 90. Looks quite fun and manageable so far, and that's coming from someone who's never done anything like programming ever before in their life. ^^"

Anyways, imagine my delight when I realized that I could also use this for stuff like programming simple (text-based) games. And stuff. I know that's not what I'm supposed to be learning it for, but hey, it looks like one of the most practical things I've seen so far. =P (not saying that maths isn't useful, but... I think this is even better =P)

...so yeah. I need a compiler xD
