Honestly I prefer hand drawn comics than pixel art comics ANY day. It gives you more freedom, and you aren't really limited to anything other than your imagination, which is way I have my comic the way it is. Seriously, who wants to see pixel art fights in panels?

 

....okay it would be cool but its a pain in my butt to draw pixel art, let alone an entire comic.

 

Other than that personal rant I agree with ya Taka

Eeeh, I wouldn't say that you're automatically that limited when using pixels or sprites. It requires a different approach, yes, you may want to invest more in storytelling, too. In the end it's an art from just as much as drawing them by hand.

 

And I think once you got used to it it isn't that bothersome anymore. ^^
