日本語研究

I've been recently studying Japanese more, and I think I'm starting to get the hang of the language! It's not as hard as everyone says. Maybe because I enjoy it! :P The hardest part for me is probably putting words in the correct order. The sentance structure is "Subject, Object, Verb." I can put together small sentances though.

Props to the first person to correctly translate this...

You're 16 years old. HA! 僕は十七歳です ね!!!

And it just so happens that the first person who reads the entry knows what you say.

Subject-object-verb is fuuuuun, since it's hysterically common. I remember it like this.

In America, you eat food.

In Soviet Russia, food eats YOU!

In America, subject verbs object.

In Soviet Russia, object verbs subject!

So thus, in subject-object-verb, it'd go like this.

In America you food eats.

In Soviet Russia, food you eats!

So whenever you need to know the subject and object you can just think about how it'd be in Soviet Russia.

Yeah, nihongo is a wild and awesome fun language indeed. Sure, it's often on a ton of crack, and yeah, some of the Americans who are into it are really annoying (you're not one of them, obviously) but it's overall rewarding.

Subject, object, verb isn't hard for me. Well, it is when you want to know where to put your Prep. phrase. But Latin's that way and not all that difficult. I just read the front, then skip over the middle to read, then go back to the middle.

Title reads "Japanese Language" something something. I don't actually know Japanese but a lot is identical to Chinese.

In the block of text in your post I see the "sixteen" but not much else. Oh, and I THINK that one there is "age."
