Well it can be cringe-inducing, I dislike the idea of mass-deleting the past like that just to hide your previous failures and stupidness. I can look back and at the very least say "I'm smarter now".

I've culled the back pages of my blog before, but I've never completely wiped it. It's fun to see how much you've matured.

Very true. I guess I just prefer hiding my idiosyncrasies, immature old self and past failures.

It's also nice, on my end, to see the areas I've grown in over the past years. I can look back and have a good laugh as I read my atrocious grammar and innocent ignorance. I still make plenty a mistake, and often trying to get my points across ends in an unfortunate mess of confusing words and phrases. But, I suppose, through trial and error, I will gradually learn to better articulate my thoughts and ideas.
