I think my laptop WANTS to be thrown into a wall

Okay two things. 1: For some explainable reason Windows absolutely refuses to install any updates. This may or may not be related to #2, I honestly don't know.

2: I need to "trust" my laptop and for some reason I need to use IE for it. *Shudders* So when I type in the URL it tells me to go to the url in IE. When I type it in in internet explorer it informs me that I can only do this in internet explorer. Meaning I Can't do anything until I can figure out why it insists that IE isn't IE.

I am so far beyond done right now.

I promise you I'm not typically a violent person but this is a level of frustration that I'm not used to. And so far I've only really, really, really wanted to give my laptop an express trip down the hallway. I have yet to actually do it. Yet.

I know dat feel, mon. Today I spent several hours performing a repair reinstall of Windows 7 just so I could fix a strange glitch that's been plaguing me for weeks.

I hacked into my my computer to fix a Windows Update glitch last week. :P

C:/Windows/WindowsUpdate.txt

*reads file*

"Clearly this set of files are glitching." *deletes files*

*reruns Windows Update again* *gets a different error* *restarts download service* *redownloads and installs successfully*

*grumbles about how it shouldn't take a computer programmer to figure this stuff out*
