Playing with the new Technic parts

Those 90 degree axle pieces are new to me, and I've been itching to do something interesting with them. Here's what I came up with.

It's really easy to build, and works wonderfully - the claws snap open and closed, and have enough force to lift medium-weight Bionicle parts.

Good to see you being creative with Technic functions! A lot of people heap Technic-based constraction sets with praise for their complexity, but in spite of that I never see a lot of builders giving their own creations unique Technic functions. Technic is more than just sticking things together with pins and axles, and it's good to see a builder really exploring its creative potential.

Thanks, I liked the Technic-dense aesthetic when I started MOCing, but if you're not going to incorporate functionality then I don't see the point. Bionicle parts are beautifully designed, and smothering them with Technic doesn't do them justice I think.

OMG THIS IS SO AMAZING MAY I USE THIS

:P Of course! I'm probably not going to use it in a MOC so it'll be nice if it doesn't go to waste. I'm going to mess with it some more and see if it's useful for anything besides pinching.
