At The Speed Of... The Internet

When it comes to online learning, you get one very nice privilege: You get to do your assignments at your own pace.

This, of course, could do some nasty-bad in your side.

My classmates are taking the e-learning week, easily letting things slide and waiting for the big graduation performance (which is tomorrow) to subside before tackling painful university text.

I did what no one in his/her right mind ought to do.

I sped ahead - at whatever speed the Internet could provide.

In one day, 50% of the work was done.

The next day, the next 20% was completed, and that made the total round-up 70%.

The last 25% is a group project - so unfortunately (maybe fortunately?), I was reined in.

The speed of my work gave me one nasty headache.

So maybe I should use dial-up instead of LAN? It will, at least, keep me in check from wearing myself down.

Yes, I had to post about this. I had little else to post - other than ToM revealing his RL self in his blog, it's a day to PiratesOfTheCarribean Medley (and possible cosplay as Will Turner), it's a scholarship interview I have to see to today, and I'm in school at an hour where I'm not supposed to be in school.

Gotta scoot - at the speed of the Internet. *poof*

Yanno, I was thinking of taken online courses myself. But considering I like to procrastinate on occasion, taking courses at my own pace wouldn't work. :P

Someday you'll learn the art of procrastination...

Or if not, you'll never know the thrill of the whole "this thing that takes three weeks to do needs to be completed in one hour" rush. :P

If I procrastinated, there goes the chance of getting a lot of things done. Now that I have time, I can work on epic chapters that I was sitting on for a long while.

And if you mention that, Omi, then yes, it would not be a good idea.
