Words That Are Full Of Win And Awesome

Summer is here! Needless to say, I'm basking in the wonderful lazy feeling that comes from the realization that I don't really have to learn anything for the next two months, unless of course I want to. Since I don't feel like posting a "life" entry (due at least in part to said laziness), I shall instead post this list of awesome words that I have compiled:

  1. Foibles
  2. Squoze
  3. Fray
  4. Frangible
  5. Purulent
  6. Indubitably
  7. Kumquat
  8. Albeit
  9. Uxorial
  10. Belgium
  11. Iniquities
  12. Serf
  13. Ablutions
  14. Temerarious
  15. Abut
  16. Besmirch
  17. Picayune
  18. Eschew
  19. Diphthong
  20. Effervescent
  21. Spake
...Copied from my class computer with the aid of my new 1 Gb flash drive, Colin (thus following in an extremely short and somewhat dubious tradition of naming flash drives after Hitchiker's characters. I'm looking at you, Tums...).

Wow, I actually use the word Fray rather often. All those words are indeed awesome, I must incorporate them into my daily speech and conversations some how.

Fray is listed not because of its inherent awesomeness but because it begins to sound really weird when you repeat it over and over again.

Baubles = No, Isoceles = Yes.

Lets see... I know:

Fray
Indubitably (one of my favorite words)
Kumquat (isn't that a fruit?)

Albeit
Belgium (the country?)
And, of course, Serf.

What the heck those other words mean is beyond me.

Indubitably.

Sounds fun! I know for sure a Kumquat is a fruit, I used that in my Lifesaving merit badge class ('cause we can't yell out "help!")

Well, Indubitably isn't a word I use, but it's a smart person word.

And there's a couple things there I've seen before.

(You should do a word of the week and use these for the summer!)
