Yeah.

 

In Final Fantasy I, there is a reference to Link from Zelda, and they been keeping it since it's Playstation incarnation FF Origins.

 

Basically there is a town called Elfheim (a town of elves), and there is a gravestone which reads "Here Lies Link". :P

 

Which would mean Link is dead. Not moving. No life in him. :P

 

Gotta love Final Fantasy!. :D

 

Originally though, in the incarnations previous to the PSX version, the name read "Erdrick", which was a poke at Dragon Quest.

So that's what it means! I came up to that gravestone and I thought it was some other Link. =P
