From my first book:

Dark drew a long, thin black sword seemingly from thin air, blocking the attack with ease. He glared at Nakiah, his eyes flickering red.

“You cannot defeat me,” he snarled; a pair of tattered, dragon-like wings unfurled from his back, and he rose into the air.

I checked my character database, and he's only meant to have one wing, the other being mechanical. Now I've got to go through the entire first book and change every mention of his wings.

The vaguely ironic thing - I remember the first draft mentioned that he only had one wing, but for some reason I changed it to two. Every description after that says two.
