Why do people think money is so important?

Because with money you can buy things that can supposedly make you 'happy". Such as fast cars, jewelry, clothing, etc.

Or money is important because it is the easiest way to get around in life. if you have money, you can buy food and a roof for your head and be able to support yourself (and possibly others).

So money is important cuz it covers your wants (fast cars) and needs (food, water, shelter).
