2 Weeks In Rewind
Lets back track a bit since I haven't updated my events mostly.
2 weekends ago I, of course, stayed over at Meaghan's place. The Firday night we volunteered at Barret's Haunted Mansion in Abbington, MA (she was a cowgirl for the Haunted Saloon section and I was a spectre for the Shocking Room). Got a lot of scares, I mostly didn't have to a thing considering most people just ran through screaming their lungs off.
Saturday we went to Boston. Though she didn't realize it, it was our 2 month anniversery, so me being a romantic guy I am, I took her out to eat and then went to the wharf (since our first night together as a couple was at the Baltimore Harbor, so basically our place is anywhere by water).
And Sunday I can't really recall.
Now lets fast forward to last weekend.
On Friday I took Meaghan to go see Saw IV (opening night) for her birthday. I am not a huge fan of the films, and did not even see them cuz I do not like gore. However the movie was not to shabby since it was suspenseful and I liked the transitions. If you are into those films, I guess you should go see it.
Saturday we just relaxed and then we later went to her dad's, because his wife wanted to go to Spooky World, which was held at the Bayside Expo in Boston. It was kinda cheesy, it being similar to a carnival (just inside a building, but we had good times.
Sunday was the day I was looking forward to the most, since it was Tokyokid's Halloween Cosplay Contest that night. We left in the afternoon since there was a picnic gathering before the contest. Meaghan and I took photos of each other (I'll upload them later). Then we went to Uno's for dinner cuz we didn't feel like packing food (we brought coooookies though). After we ate we got in line for the contest. Meaghan and I registered for the Master portion (there was an Apprentice portion). During the long few hours (they had to announce winners around 9 PM), we pretty much chilled. We met up with the gang later in and watched the band Ikeda Katsu play live (they played anime and video game songs). After a long night (I was falling asleep), the winners were announced. Sadly neither Meaghan nor I did not place anywhere in the Masters, but we were both honorable mentions.
