Saw The Golden Compass today, finally. I know you guys have had it for ages, but we've only had it since Boxing Day. And I liked it, I thought they did a good job. However, there was this certain...emptiness with it, like something was missing, but I find that with many book to film adaptions these days, so that's pretty typical. Annoyed how they ended it, but I suppose there was little they could have done about it, it wouldn't have worked as well as it did in the book. Ah well, they did it well, but yeah...missing something...
