Yes, with a bandolier. I was going to give him just his normal belt, but then I decided that a bandolier would be much more interesting and would also hold itself up on its own. The fact that I'm a few chapters into reading Abhorsen might have something to do with it, too.

I've been wondering exactly what a Magnetic Bolt Launcher would do... I came to the conclusion that either the bolt itself causes metal to fly toward it in midair and all strike the target at once, or the bolt gives the target such a huge magnetic force that any metal around slams into it. Like Gahlok-Kal and the Exo-Toa.

But you wouldn't need a launcher for that effect, which makes me more inclined toward the former.
