No offense meant here, Ca'gerinn, but really, complaining about the staff's rules and especially comparing BZP to Germany in your blog may cause the blogs to be banned.

So, in answer to your question, not very long, I think.

Banning the blogs cuz they're compared to Germany?

Whether I agree with Ca'gerrin or the staff, aside, that would be absolutely ludicrous.

Same if they banned all the blogs just because of this debate.

That'd pretty much prove my point, methinks.

I use(d) my blog to post about my life. Only once had I been warned by B6 because anger got a strong hold on me.

So I have to state two things:

1, Thank you for the prviledge of having an Online Journal to look forward to everyday.

2, Thank you for the no swearing rule, because without it, my blog would be Rated-R, as myself.

And Biomech, what I do in my personal time does not reflect on my position as staff. If you have a problem, bring it to -me-, not to anyone else.

I'll be sure to do that.

@ Blue: Check out the "Cipher" entry.

Ah, I see.... but It should be takin up with the people who run the blogs, instead of causing a scene. A private discussion would seem more official and polite. :)

I believe that this is meant to be an entry to make a point, so that's why Ca made this public. I think.

The entry was made to complain about our rules.

Note how this entry was immediately made after his previous one was closed for rulebreaking.

Oh come on now. You know that they didn't close that because people were stretching there brains. It was because by using the cipher, they weren't sure what you were saying. For all they knew, you were bypassing the word filters. And I'm sure you'll say something like "Well, they should've just solved 'em." They're staff, and busy people all around. They aren't like you and me, who spend most of their day online. They go out and do real things too.

This entry was made because I see nothing wrong with getting people to stretch their brains a bit.

Never presume to know why I do what I do. Ever.

Your comments beg to differ:

How long until they ban blogs?

Y'know, if, every time someone does something, and the staff outlaws that something, soon there won't be anything to post about.

Seems to me that most of the stuff you ban is only banned after someone does it.

I was under the impression that blogs were supposed to be fun, not some horrible parody of WW2 Germany.

And I explained the cipher thing in your entry. You just didn't want to take it.

Even though it irritates me, I'm not stupid enough to bypass it. And if you think that I'm that stupid....

Nobody's assuming that you're that stupid. Its a universal rule. It applies to everyone.

And, y'know, if I can vent off a bit at BZP while protesting a pointless entry closure, then I will use that opportunity.

As I said, don't try to understand why I do things. And don't assume that I have to do things in a certain way.

Won't help your situation.

Then don't give us a reason to.

A tip: Don't argue with the staff.

It ends up with you bludgeoned and bloodied and submissive.

I'm talking from personal experience.

There IS no signoff.

Edit: My spelling is so bad, it sends Teletubbies running for cover.

I don't see anything that can be lost by arguing as long as the arguments don't become flaming.

Comparing us to WWII Germany (or more simply, Nazis), is something that can be taken into consideration for flaming.

Sorry if it came across as flaming, it's an injoke.

So you're admitting that it's true?
