cags//cunninghat/2x2b Posted February 7, 2008 Actually, it's not a bad thing, as Zellers is selling Lego at US prices, it seems. Quote Link to comment
Zonis Posted February 7, 2008 Isn't Icarax a walmart exlcusive? 'Cause he's the only good set of 08 I've seen. One drawback. Quote Link to comment
cags//cunninghat/2x2b Posted February 7, 2008 Wal-mart is fail. What, for standing up to Lego's pricing. Which is ridiculously high here, because Lego is ignoring the exchange rate. Quote Link to comment
THE BENELUX TORTOISE Posted February 8, 2008 Here in Europe, we don't have the evil, named Wal-mart. We do have prives that are higher than the dollars and the euro is higher than the dollar. Lego is expensive here. The Phantoka makuta are €12.99. That's more than $15. It is actually cheaper to buy them from an American and have them shipped than it is to buy them in the local distributers. Quote Link to comment

Zyrox Posted February 8, 2008 So Zellers is using US pricing now?(=Awesomeness) Too bad Wal-Mart has to listen to its "Low prices rule" Sometimes they had a good selection. (not a lot though...) Also do you know if Zellers has the matoran yet/still? Where did you get Photok from? ))Z(( Quote Link to comment

Ruhannitasticness Posted February 8, 2008 I could tell that the bonds between Lego and Wal-Mart were breaking. Their selection became poorer and there was less variety. I frankly am not mad about it, but Wal-Mart shouldn't have spazzed out like that. I still have Toys'R'Us and Zellers. I'm good. Ruhann Quote Link to comment

Ruhann Lucky you, you get Toys 'R' Us, it takes too long for me to get there so I rarely ever go. Now all I have left is Zellers (mainly) ))Z(( Quote Link to comment
Spoony Bard Posted February 8, 2008 Too bad Wal-Mart has to listen to its "Low prices rule" Usually when you make a store that is based around that, you cannot just suddenly drop it. -Omi Quote Link to comment

Kevin Owens Posted February 8, 2008 I actually got three Toa Ignika for about 15$ each. Mutrans were $12 but I never got them. Next time I went they were normal priced. But Phantoka are $9 instead of the normal $10 which is good. Quote Link to comment
Lluvio Posted February 8, 2008 Down here in the US, they suddenly stopped selling the Matoran. They still have plenty of Phantoka, though. And they certainly had them before because I bought Gavla there. Quote Link to comment

~Po~ Posted February 16, 2008 I suppose the production of Lego bricks are too costly for Wal Mart. Or the fact that it isn't made in China where the wages are hardly called such. Quote Link to comment
