maj is back, though.

April Fools jokes are never funny on April First, because of obviousity.

Taking B-shelf down for a few minutes, though, was genius.

Sadly, it wasn't down long enough for panics to start.

MAJ IS FREAKING BACK

...

Yeah, I'd love to see someone trip me with a banana on September 27th and say "April Fools!"

Maj isn't that great. Not enough features.

Ahahaha say that to the face of the people who had to make those sorts of places in order for people to demand more from them at all. I mean, really, what about "not deleting galleries at random", is that a good enough feature for you?

Flickr can only be used for photos, so that narrows down a lot. Graphics and other images cannot be used on flickr.

Which is why I suggested Photobucket as well.

Photobucket used to be like Maj with the crashing and all that. In fact it still does from time to time. That and it takes forever to upload images on Photobucket.

Well, I haven't seen it crash at all, and Maj has crashed two or three times that I can remember.

Still takes less time than Maj, due to bulk uploader.

In my time using Photobucket, it has never crashed, and uploads more images faster than any other host.

Photobucket crashed last month. Where were you?

Did it crash for an entire week?

It has before.

Seriously, when do sites not go offline?

AND MAJ/BRICKSHELF LACK BULK UPLOADER

That's what a ZIP folder is for. You zip up all your images, upload the zipped folder to Brickshelf, and it unzips the folder and voila! All your images are uploaded at once.

Probably outside.

Well, sites often go offline for maintenance, and seeing as Photobucket has become pretty massive, they can't afford to go down for long periods of time. Maj, on the other hand, being a relatively small host, can go down with minimal backlash. Wait, how do they make money? I see no ads...

Never worked for me, sadly.

Wait, does it make new directories based on folders too? Because that may get me to start using maj again.

Maj and Brickshelf is modded and funded by one guy. It comes from his pocket, not others. Consider it a generous thought.

I'd just like to remind everybody how lucky we are that we have computers, let alone that somebody set up hosting sites for us to whine about, let alone that somebody wrote the programs to allow those hosting sites to exist.
