Hmm, that sounds like a bad reality/game show.

 

Anyway, I was thinking about how the young ones that are forced to go to school (college and beyond is a choice). What saddens me is that as we get older, their summers seem to get shorter. It has nothing to do with time flying or anything: it has to do with shortening the allotted length. At the rate things seem to go each year, July might soon be the only month they get off.

 

Oh well, you should enjoy it while it lasts, no matter how brief, because eventually, there is no summer vacation. The only vacation is what you plan beforehand. :psychotwitch:

I hear you, man, loud and clear. I remember in the good old days, I would get out sometime in May, and come back to school the tuesday following Labor Day. Now I'm a senior. We got out for summer around June 2nd, and returned to school this past thursday, August 10th. I know that all shools aren't like this; They are returning in September. Generally, though, my parish's (yup, I'm in Louisiana) school board disappoints me, which is pretty much supported by the level of intellegence of the cool dudes I go to school with...
