Oh Terribly Backwards

Why is it that in Firefox the "Open Link In New Window" button is before "Open Link in New Tab" on the right-click drop-down menu? Do people actually use the former tool? It makes it terribly difficult to click the correct one with hooves.

Really? I hate having too many windows open in the start menu. It usually gets in the 13s.

I use it for organizational purposes sometimes, but I use tabs probably 200 times more not counting when I hit New Window on accident.

I'm not sure how to say this lightly, but the Gingerbread persona is really, um, getting on my nerves. Anyway, I love the tabs feature too. In fact, instead of using the dropdown menu, I just added the "new tab" feature to the main toolbar of Firefox.

Yes, because people use it. I'd actually uninstall the tab function if I could.

I'm surprised at you, Ca. You're the last person I'd expect to hear that from; you seem so efficient with computers.

I love the tab function.

Did you know that you can hover the mouse over the link, and press down on the scroll bar on the mouse, it immediately opens a new tab? Very useful.

I'm just used to switching programs via the taskbar, so it's easier for me to tell what I've got open if it's all in seperate windows.

Is it your belief that my vocabulary is exceedingly immense?

I just don't always move my hoof far enough to hit the second button rather than the fist.

No, it just seems that "organizational" would be rather hard to type with hooves. :guilty:
