Welcome to Bunda's Blog Based Creations Contest #2: Oh, What Marvelous Things!

That's right! Finally, I've decided to start the next contest! The theme? Make something marvelous... like the griffin... the centaur... or the unicorn... All these beasts of legend were mixed up, and your mission is to make up another mixed beasty! Mix the attributes of any two(+) real-world creatures into your MOC. Let your imagination run wild! There will be two categories: One for made up creatures, and another for cyptids/mythical mix-ups.


Contest Specific Rules
1) Bionicle Rahi do not count, and you may not mix/use them in your MOC.
2) You must mix at least two real-world creatures in your MOC. You may mix more, just make sure it doesn't become muddled.
3) A human may be one of the creatures.
4) Do not mix two similar creatures, such as a chimp and a gorilla, or a house cat and a lion.


Normal Rules
1) No custom or painted parts. Duh.
2) No entry may be published prior to the beginning of this contest.
3) One entry per person, one MOC per entry.
4) Entry must be 75% Technic/Bionicle.
5) The background may be edited, but not the MOC. Color correction and brightness adjustments are legal.

If I missed one, all the other basic BBCC rules apply.

How bout a minotaur? There half human and half bull. There allowed, right?

 

P.S: Primus should've made scuzzlebutt instead ( although I dont know how you'd make patrick duffy into a bionicle... )

Minotaurs are legal.

Man. I would enter this, but I'm too busy MOCing for fun, playing with my MOCs for fun, entering Toa Velox's contest, and watching Primus' contest and BBC50 to do anything else. And I've never done anything like--

 

 

--Wait!!! I've got it!! I have an MOC that could fit in this contest, I just have to figure out what it is.

 

So, I can't have, per se, a Hawk/Takadox mix? Just wondering.

 

Anyone know of some kind of flying cryptid? I've been looking through Wikipedia...

 

Also, I just noticed the Portal reference in this blog. So win, it hurts.

I said in the opening entry that Bionicle creatures are not available for mixing. Takadox is Bionicle, so that's a no no.

That works as a thumbnail, or you could just link me to the one b-shelf generates. That rule was mostly for those who don't give me a gallery and whatnot.

So long as you don't do crazy stuff, such as give it treads. But in the end I don't see how that would benefit you...

I could give It wings and say its a cross between a Boomer and a hawk...

Naw, Forget that. Would a cross between a spider and a caterpillar be okay? Because thats pretty much what another enemy (a "corpser") from the game is.
