Vacation proved to be very productive. Here are some of the highlights of my trip!

First off, we found an amazing shop that was having a going out of buisness sale, they had a raffle for some toys and lego prizes and I spent about 30 bucks on tickets. As it turns out I won 2 AMAZING prizes! I was thrilled and as I promised in my last blog entry, I brought you back a gift BZP!

And the prizes, a rare sealed minifig pack!

And an even RARER 7190 Millenium Falcon, never opened and SEALED, plus there is like no box wear. This is worth a ton of cash.

(Here you can see it is sealed)

After all that excitement we moved on and found this nifty kite shop. They had an assortment of rubber band guns like I have never seen before! Look at that Gatling Gun, I was told it fires like 120 rubber bands a second, for that price it had better! I bought a little colt and some ammo, Ill have some fun with that I am sure. I also bought a Diode 2 handed sport kite to fly on the ocean. That was a blast, they are kind of tricky to fly but I did pretty well.

Well that was about it for the fun stuff, the rest of the time was spent driving and enjoying the beach. Im still in awe over those prizes.

Aw, sad to hear that Sucher & Sons is going out of business. Looks like you definitely scored, though--all that Lego Star Wars stuff was too expensive when I was down there.

You been there before Arpy? It was amazing in there, I talked to the older gentlemen there and he said that there just are not enough people coming in and buying. I felt bad for him, I would have bought more if I could. I want to go back there soon, hopefully before they close their doors.

I'm so disappointed in you CzaR, you didn't buy the Gatling Gun. :uhuh:

Just kidding. :P

Seriously though, that's an awesome vacation! Score on the Millenium Falcon! I didn't even know you could find them any more!

I remember that Millennium Falcon... bad times... bad times.... I sure hope you don't have to build it twice like me.

Those sets worth anything not MISB? I've got like the complete first several years of LEGO SW sitting around.

Ya, 'twas most awesome.

After I did some digging online I found that a used 7190 is valued at about 150 US dollars, if you have the box in good shape it can be up to about 200. The minifig pack I could only find MISB at 50 dollars.

I'm pretty sure I drove past that Star Wars store when i was on vacation up in Portland and Seattle. In fact, I know I did.

...Small world.

I cannot believe that place had one of the original Millenium Falcon sets. I wanted to go in there, but nooo, m parents didn't want to stop. And the Minifig pack

And is it just me, or does one of the Rubber band guns, the one at the top of the first picture, look vaguely Halo-ish?

As a slightly random side note, if I didn't have such horrendous allergies, then I'd totally live up in Portland.
