The Clone Wars: Failure

Well, I just saw the Clone Wars.

...

It stinked and it wasn't worth it. No where near as good as the sets that it inspired. The dialogue and voice acting was horrible, and the story could use some work. I think it was geared towards the younger generation, as in 8 year olds. >_> The movements of the characters were too swift during battle and too slow and sluggish during respites. And one of the main problems was they were trying to hook the little kids. They tried to explain a lot of Star Wars terms and concepts by being overly obvious, which makes for a horrible movie in the eyes of an experienced movie-watcher. :P

Plus, Rex was bald. And there was another Clone who had two mohawks. They actually used rock music during a battle, and cursed once. I was appalled at both.

(Highlight for "spoilers")

In all? I desperately hope the TV series is better than this... this... taint on Star Wars.

Uggh... I hate that. >.<

And I could tell the dialogue was terrible (especially Asohka's) just from the commercials.

I am definately waiting for it to come out on DVD to see it.

Hmmmm...... I thought it looked good. Actually, Rex isn't bald, his hair is cut VERY short, and it's a VERY light color blond. Look closly at the trailer. I agree with you with the language, although I knew it was in there. If you don't want to watch movies with language or anything, I suggest you go to www.pluggedin.com, then you find the movie you want to see, and it tells you everything good or bald in it, like language, violence, and negative material.

Anyway, I'm dissappointed to hear it was a failure...........

Hmm... Either way, I don't like it. And yes, I mind the language, but that wouldn't stop me from watching it if there was only one word.

Hey, I liked the individuality amongst the clones. They were still the same, yet different. Ahsoka managed to have most of the best lines of the movie, IMO, though half of them were still cheesy. Though I really think they shoulda left Padme out of the movie. Her and Zero. Just sorta stoopidified the plot. A character, the second he turns up, turns out to be a traitor. I mean, if they're gonna have him be a traitor, then they need to introduce him eariler....but him and Padme were really the only major things I didn't like.

I liked it.

I never said that disliking it didn't make you less of one. I was trying to say that I wasn't just some average movie-goer. I guess it came out kinda wrong.

Sadly, my family disagrees with me on this.

Also, Padme's voice was annoying. Very annoying. Like fingernails on a chalkboard annoying.

I seriously hope that, with the TV series either

1, Padme almost never appears, or,

2, they use a different voice actress, or

3. Both.

Yep. And I hope the overall plot gets better. Maybe the movie was just for the uneducated-semi-Star Wars-fan.

That's also possible, as seeing how it launches into the TV series.

MOAR MACE WINDU!

Hey, at least Samuel L. Jackson voiced Windu. And Christopher Lee voiced Dooku. Despite Dooku looking like a guy from frickin EASTER ISLAND.

There was rock music? I'm more interested in that than anything else. Provided it was -good- rock music. To the soundtrack listing!
