I like the idea of a third force butting in on the puny Toa and Makuta and wiping them out.

That's not subtle at all.

One of the Makuta gets a Kraata pushed (Force push FTW. ) and then it goes inside Pahrak-Kal and he blows up everything in sight!

I'd find it funny if there was like the two good/evil teams are fighting in a battle of pure skill (i.e. sword fights), then a horde of huge third-party guys comes in then demolishes everything.

You neglected to imply the sheer contrast betwixt the skillful fighting and the "HULK SMASH!"

Well, the Toa kind of lost in 2004 and 2005.

That is an excellent idea. In fact, I'd kinda like to see a movie where instead of all those lucky chances and victories against all odds most heroes get, when the main characters try something improbable, it doesn't work. And the evil horde of bad guys wins because they're a giant evil horde of well-trained bad guys, not a small group of heroic people.

I'd like a group of characters who are not good or evil, just guys in some sort of battleground with roaring crowds...

Oh wait.

I was GOING to post about why that would be cool and why it would never happen, but never mind. I was GOING to say that it would never happen because this is the last year, and that maybe the bad guys winning like they technically should because they're freakin six makuta against six toa, and it took seven toa to beat one makuta would just be "too immoral" or "too violent" or "too awesomely evil".
