I don't like the Mistika Nuva. I like the Makuta's though.

I agree, the Mistika Nuva do look nothing like the old Nuva. That is okay. If they were to much the same, people would complain about that. A little change to them would've been fine, but Lego has money in mind, not nostalgia.

They think about the new fans, what they want and what they wil buy.I doubt many new fans would know anything about the old Nuva. We are nostalgic and thus despise the Mistika. We had our standards up too high, expecting the return of gears, the Mata colors, collectible masks and everything the old Nuva had that isn't around now.

Lego has to try new things with the focus groups. They are where Lego's support comes from. Lego just sticks with projectiles, dark colors and stuff these nostalgic fans are starting to hate. Lego has to make new limbs and torsos. The only new torso since 2006 is the Makuta phantoka torso. That's just a copout. If Lego can make 12 or more new masks a year, they can most certainly make a new torso and some new limbs.

We always have our hopes too high nowadays. Bionicle is starting to lose it's lustre in my opinion.
