Some Assembly Required

… IS A CHEAP duplicate show that's not as good as* HOW IT'S MADE.

LIKE SMASH LAB IS OF MYTHBUSTERS.

*Because apparently "ripoff" doesn't apply here.

Okay I've never seen 'Some Assembly Required' before, but you are so right about Mythbusters being a billion times better than Smash Lab...

You definitely deserve this:

Just read the Wiki entry on Smash Lab.

THEY'RE BOTH AIRED BY DISCOVERY CHANNEL. IT CAN'T BE A RIP OFF.

Plus they don't test myths, they test items/materials.

FAIL.

And Discovery Channel lost How It's made, it seems. The Science Channel is now the host.

So... they ripped it off...BUT "SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED" HAS PEOPLE WORKING IN IT, NOT AN INVISIBLE NARRATOR.

Aha!

2 Myths...

BUSTED!

EDIT:

Wait... the Science Channel is owned by Discovery! Further Proof!

I just watched three hours of "How It's Made" on the discovery channel this afternoon.

Oh sure smashing stuff to test ideas is a concept that they never used before.

Neither is showing how things are made.

My bad.

Wait... the Science Channel is owned by Discovery! Further Proof!

You are just finding this out? O________o

EDIT: Oh hey look, How It's Made is on.

D: Scary Bigheaded Skinny Kid Theme!

*Hiissss*

How is it a rip off, if it's the same company?

I don't get it. >_>

And Smash Lab tests Materials and their use, it seems, reading the summaries. They use the same material in different ways for optimal usage.

Mythbusters tests ideas.

I meant in the way they do it.

They saw how popular the blowing stuff up on Mythbusters was and they took that and put it into a new show that wasn't as good.

Do any of their ideas ever even work?

Lol, you didn't change your Avatar.

WRACK LIVES!

And still...

How is it a rip-off...

If it's from the same company!?

[-The Alchemyst-]

Lol, I did.

YOUR CACHE LIVES.

Um… should I have called it "a duplicate show that's not as good"?

Mythbusters OWNS all three of the aforementioned shows.

How It's Made is boring ('cause of the narrator), Smash Lab's boring too, because none of the people on it are as awesome as the Mythbusters and they never do anything right. They don't even test very well. Meh.

Few people are as awesome as the Mythbusters.
