Is the team that is evacuating the base also an option to have from their perspective? Or are the two infiltrating teams the good guys? (I'd go with the latter.)

If you stick with first person, then I am inclined to think that the infiltrating base will get more of the action. But if you think the distracters will, then shouldn't they be the main focus? Or maybe you can make it third person (would this be easier to write?) and have it switch between team (though I guess this is obvious.)

Have him in the sneaky team, but with a Suletu so he can see what's happening in the huge battle (through someone else's eyes).
