Six year olds normally don't know what gay or straight means. Or bisexual, for that matter. You don't need to be offended if a six year old doesn't know what homosexual means ;_;

And by "contaminating minds" I don't mean it's to be compared with a disease, I mean little kids shouldn't be going around with any knowledge involving romance or sexuality. That's way too young. Just like how talking about dating and such will "contaminate" the minds of young children. They don't need to know everything.

The average member here probably knows what "gay" means, even if they don't know all its connotations. I remember well certain names called when I was in 5th grade or so...

And at that, I declare that this comment thread will NOT get into the connotations that actually are inappropriate for younger members. Just ... don't go there. Romance by itself is fine and should not be shunned; things beyond that would be against basic BZP rules.

(It wasn't really heading that way, but certain comments made could have led there.)
