My username is spelled that way for the exact same reason listed in the title of this blog; there's nothing else to it, really.

And that wasn't an "L." it was my full last name; just looks that way because of how I scrawl it. Hey, at least this time people didn't mistake it for a "Z" which is what usually happens when I don't lift my pen/pencil enough between dotting the first I and writing the L.
