The Endless Battle Continues

Imperial citizens can be forgiven for cheering on the metallic hordes of Necrons as they swept into the heart of their desecrated city. The Necrons sudden appearence can be linked to the Tyranid infestation within the shattered city remains, undoubtedly to deal death to those who would steal their "crops" - so whoever won this sudden battle, the cause of man would still suffer.
As the two unrelenting tides approached, the battle tipped in favor of the sudden attacking Necrons as they took their march slowly and cautiously, picking off the forerunners of the Tyranids central attacking force. With the Tyrandid Biovores broken down to the atomic level, the metalic forces uprooted themselves from their alleyways and began their march further into the city.
With dozens of dead gaunts and specialized warriors outnumbering the only 3 or so casualities on the Necrons' side, the Tyranids have so far been fighting a losing battle, charging straight into a well-prepared and positioned Necron phalanx. But in the end, the city's dominator would be decided on the clash in the middle of the city.
As both forces gathered in no man's land, the question is this- who will win? The sheer brawn of the Tyranids, or the unusually graceful Necrons of Ulacant IV who continue to flow between the Great Devourer's attacks and dig in to their weak points?...
'Course, with the attitude Xar's taking by talking to the dice before tossing a few saving throws and being nit-picky about every shot, I don't think this battle will ever finish, seeing as we've been doing this battle since Tuesday. >,>
