I used to think 7-11 Slurpees were the god of slushiedom.

Then I moved somewhere there's no 7-11's, just Turkey Hill.

Their slushies are less... "airy" than 7-11's. You still get to the bottom and are left with a block of flavorless snow, but...

I've really gotten into making the stuff at home myself, but man, it's hard to find a good ice shaver. I've had like 3 or 4 in the past few years and only like the one I have now.

AND, you get to control how much syrup you want in it.

I used to laugh at this one convenience store that had ICEE... it was run by foreigners and they had a sign in bad english telling how many "pumps" (lol) you were to put in to a specific size cup.

Nothing like having my cousin distract them or waiting for them to look down to go crazy on the thing lol.
