I've heard that in the context of an Urban Legend. Never had a chance to exercise it here on campus. Though some profs. have cut it pretty close.

Convention holds that 5 minutes for a graduate assistant, 10 minutes for a professor, 15 minutes for a Ph.D. If the facilitator of the class is not present during that time, class is assumed cancelled.

Convention, but that was not policy at McNeese. If the teacher shows up after that deadline and no one is there, everyone is considered absent.

-KIE, who unsuccessfully tried to skip class twice during 5 years of undegrad classes, but the teacher skipped the same days so they didn't count....so KIE quit trying to skip class

Though some profs. have cut it pretty close.

And teachers always get on our case for being late.

And now we can get payback.

I secretly hope my teacher wasn't there when I skipped class last Thursday.

That is an aweso me rule...especially if you can plan it.....the teachers being gone..... and egging on their car or.....a fake call saying their girlfriend and/or wife is pregnant and is giving premature birth......Alas It will never happen..

I would have had the day off...

I only have one teacher, and even if she's gone, I don't get to skip any part of school.
