My brain tends to associate music with events. For example, I remember the song that was playing on the radio as I built Gali Nuva in the car all those years ago. If I heard it again, I would likely be reminded of Gali Nuva.

Anyway, a couple of years ago we started going to this awesome B&B every January. Rather long drive, so I brought my iPod. On the trip there I listened to those two songs a lot, though probably each on a separate year. The first year I was also reading Silverwing (or Sunwing, can't remember which), so I'm slightly reminded of that too but w/e.

So now every time I listen to those songs I'm reminded of the trip there/being there.

Which is a really awesome feeling.
