Spoony Bard Posted October 20, 2008 2 cups of meat juice 1 cup of meat 4 cups of seasoning Mix it all together. Boil for half an hour. When completed, throw it away and look in a cook book. -Omi Quote Link to comment
Watashi Wa Posted October 20, 2008 The recipe doesn't matter, you just need Tony Sacheries! I went camping last weekend and we always do beef stew. We use the McCormick packages as seasoning, flour the meat, brown the tips in vegetable oil, and water, then add potatoes, carrots, onions and whatever else you wish. It's not as good as Grandma's, but is pretty good if you're in a hurry... Quote Link to comment

EmperorWhenua Posted October 20, 2008 Found one. 5 slice(s) Niman Ranch Applewood Smoked Bacon 4 pound(s) Niman Ranch beef for stew, cut into 2-inch cubes .333 cup(s) all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon(s) (up to 2, as needed) olive oil 2 cup(s) chopped onion 1 tablespoon(s) chopped garlic 3 cup(s) red wine, (such as cabernet sauvignon or pinot noir) 1 cup(s) low-sodium beef broth 2 tablespoon(s) red-wine vinegar 1 can(s) (28-ounce) chopped tomatoes 1 bay leaf .75 teaspoon(s) salt 1 teaspoon(s) coarse-ground black pepper 1.Brown the beef: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Cook bacon until browned in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Remove and place on a paper towel. Pour off half the bacon fat and reserve. Toss the beef and flour together in a large bowl. Add 1 tablespoon oil to the Dutch oven, add the meat in batches, and brown on all sides. Add reserved bacon fat and 1 more tablespoon of oil, if needed. Transfer the beef to a plate. 2.Finish the stew: Add the onions to the Dutch oven and sauté over medium-high heat until golden -- about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 2 more minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, the browned beef and the bacon and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook in the oven until the meat is very tender -- about 2 1/4 hours. Serve the stew while it is hot. ~EW~ Quote Link to comment

~ShadowBolt~ Posted October 20, 2008 Meat of your choice chopped into cubes joined by cubed carrots and potatoes. Add in fresh green beans, corn, and whatever veggies you like. Stick in a thick tomato sauce that you like and put in spices of your choice, throw in a bayleaf and simmer in a pot until fully cooked. Pull out the bayleaf and presto! Just put in a bowl and serve! < _ < > _ > < _ < Oi Binky! Just go on the FoodNetwork's website! ~SB~ Quote Link to comment

Black Six Posted October 20, 2008 Become an avid fan of an up-and-coming property.Encourage others to become fans as well.Discuss property often and become deeply enthralled with it.Watch the property sell out and ignore their original audience in the name of making more money.Brood with anger, disappointment, and rage. Now you're stewing. Or is that not what you had in mind? Quote Link to comment
