The United States of America has decided.

The sad part is that his grandmother didn't live to see him make history.

At least he lived up to the expectations she set for him.

It's real sad that she didn't see him become the first African American President. :/

..and our condolences and congratulations to Barack Obama.

Now, I'm hearing John McCain's final presidential speech.

Edit: I swear, I haven't seen anyone mention their names straight out.

The United States of America has decided.

Sadly, this is not really true, as the weird system known as the Electoral Votes exist. =/

The sad part is that Failmerica has just bombed the heck out of itself.

Figuratively, of course.

For now.

Perhaps you should take McCain's lead and respect what Obama has done rather than spout off complaints because you're candidate didn't get elected. Besides, BZP is not the place for that kind of politically inflammatory statement.

America just got itself IMPROVED.

We're going to be respected much more around the world now.

This is one of the most historical days in the history of the United States of America.

And we're here to witness it happening. We will be able to tell our children, our grandchildren, and possibly our great grandchildren, that we were living during this truly historical moment, when a Black man was elected to the highest rank in the United States of America, where about 50 years ago, Blacks were treated terribly, and where Blacks were also in the past used as slaves simply because of the color of their skin, and that is ridiculous.

I honestly think BZP needs to post a news story about this, as they did with 9/11, since this will rank up with the Revolutionary War as some of America's most historic, and country-changing moments. And we're living through it.

We have Republican BZPers, and we have Democrat BZPers. Some of us supported McCain, others of us supported Obama. Regardless, we can all agree that this is a life-changing event.

Usually Rho and I are at ends on stuff, but for once, I have to say, listen to the man.

For me, I'm partly afraid of somethings, but then again that could just be my paranoid side at work. But, I was pretty undecided during the elections as each of them brought forth ideas I did like, while some ideas I didn't like so much.

Now for one of the quotes I like, just altered enough to fit in with the campaign;

"Let's turn this country around three hundred sixty degrees!" (I forget who said it, but it was a coach I believe for some team. Take out "country" and stick in "team") If ya don't get the funny part of it... well I dun explain.

(I is killer of humour even if my humour sux)

I respect your opinion, but I just imagine the results of Obama's plans to be less than good for us. Sure, there HAS to be at least a few good results, but as a whole, I see nothing worth looking forward to.

Then again, no human is perfect. Perhaps this is the point I've been trying to make. McCain would have had problems just as Obama will. I agree with Kopakalaka, McCain was simply the lesser of the two evils.

Also, good job on that post; it's much easier to read them without any noob mocking, ha. :P

Regardless, this whole thing is an opinion matter. Opinions at opinions just makes a never-ending fight. We don't want this, arntirite?

Gah, rhyming.
