Click here, first chapter, .doc format.

I've finished chapter 2, started chapter 3, but I wanted to get some feedback on what I got so far. So I copied my text for chapter 1, converted the BBCode tags to actual italics, neatened it up a bit, and uploaded it.

Once again, this is set after the events at the end of this year's storyline. Hopefully nothing major happens from now on to contradict my premise and screw me up.

I'm afraid it's a bit of a slow start; I hope to pick up the pace in chapter 3 a bit.
