As in attached to the actual chariot? Spikes on the wheels for side encounters, spikes on the rear of the vehicle in case anyone tries to ram you and spikes in front if you intend to ram someone A rotating launcher would also be useful, I think. If you meant weapons for the rider, javelins and pretty much anything that can be thrown. You might also need a sword or an axe in case anything gets too close.

I have a good design for a crossbow that actually fires. However, it requires a full-size rubber band for the string, so I can't enter it in a contest.

I've also designed many lego rubber-band powered projectile weapons, that are small enough to fit on my MOCs.
