To The Right

I just realize that I always sit in the right (as in the direction right) section of the lecture hall when I go to class. Always. In some classes, I sit closer to the front so I can read what the professor has written down. In the classes where they have the giant screens, I sit in the back, away from the crowds and closer to the exit doors. :P And sometimes I just sit closer to the windows... which has been on the right side of many of the classrooms I've been in. It's crazy! :bigeek:

The one exception is in Drama last year, but that's because we had assigned seats. (Yes, assigned seats. Sure, we were incoming freshmen, but really!)

I think the reason is because I'm left handed, I'd rather look to my left than to my right, and so to achieve this position I sit on the right side, so that the majority of the classroom is on my left side.

And, yes, my mind has been totally warped from finals, so I'm just spouting random observations.

The law of Arpy states that Arpies shall always sit really close to the door and be among the first out of it when class is over.

I've been following that First out the Door part for a while now!

I sat on the right side of my Calc class because the teacher would turn his body to the left, hiding half of what he wrote just as he wrote it.

I'm right handed. I put my paper in front of me and my book to my left. Huh?

The left has always been regarded as a sort of malevolent influence (we draw out word sinister from the Latin for left). So maybe you're just a really nice and benevolent person?
