Midnight is alive. When my grandmother took her to the vet's office yesterday, she discovered that Midnight had been in what's called a diabetic coma. Essentially, Midnight has low blood sugar. Right now, Midnight requires constant supervision and has to be fed every two hours. We also discovered that Midnight has a condition that causes her eyes to be two different sizes. The chihuahuas are being picked up tonight. My grandmother is considering adopting Midnight.
In other news, today has been fairly uneventful. We were going to attend her school's Family Fun Fest, but she isn't feeling well right now, so we skipped it. In about an hour, maybe two, another friend of mine will be visiting. We plan to play Heroscape and Super Smash Brother Brawl. If anyone reading this plays either game, let me know. For the game of Heroscape, my brother and I will be teaming up against our friend. However, he gets a bigger army than we do combined, so it should be fairly even.
Later tonight, we may or may not head over to my uncle's house for Lohri. Lohri is an Indian holiday to celebrate the new year, but we really just use it as a chance to build a bonfire with our Christmas tree. Because that's what we do - build a Christmas tree-fueled bonfire, eat hot dogs, roast marshmallows, and generally have a good time. Adding any part of a Christmas tree to a fire is like pouring gasoline on it - our fires have gotten quite tall.
