I take it the wings can't be rotated without disassembly, like in later iterations of the set?

The full wings can, but the panels can't open and head can't be positioned without taking them off and reattaching them.

 

I hated that thing so much.

There is no forgiveness.

You don't know Lego based pain until you've dropped a UCS X-wing on you're toe. It takes forever to put back together, and it hurts too!

I had two of them, but only because Dad bought me an extra one for parts or something. I never really like how you had to detach the head to put it in walker mode. I like the new Vulture droid setup better.

I say Lego struck it best with the 2005 version that came with Anakin's Episode 3 starfighter.

 

Why did they ruin a perfectly good design with the 2007 version? It looks too skeletal with those battle droid arms. :glare:
