According to screenshots from a TV commercial for the March issue of Newtype magazine of the cover of said magazine posted on a relatively reliable site that I can't link to due to forums but I watched an upload of the commercial myself and it looks pretty darned legit, the new season of Haruhi is announced for April of this year and while I would not be surprised if KyoAni were pulling our legs again let me just take this moment to say

 

HECK. YEAH.

Well, if you actually understood my horrible run-on sentence up there, March Newtype hasn't actually been released, so you're going to have to wait till February 10th for details.

Hate to burst everyone's bubble but new information has come to light that's thrown everything into doubt (despite how crystal clear the cover and ad seemed to be) so... gonna have to wait five more days 'till the Newtype issue actually comes out. :\
