Unfortunately that wouldn't work; I've tried getting a loan from them since the item in question I need the cash for is rare and used and likely to go fast and I would be willing to do something as pathetic as getting a loan from my mother for it. We literally can't afford it due to the crashconomy.

XD Everyone is unfortunately. I'd say the food industry isn't, but the recent outbreaks killed that, and most other businesses died along with the stock market. There is one industry I can't mention here that's probably still got gold-lines pockets though.
