EmperorWhenua Posted April 12, 2009 I did that once with my Boy Scout troop. We had a garage sale going on at the same time, too. I got soaked. And cold. And almost got hypothermia. Not fun. ~EW~ Quote Link to comment
Emzee Posted April 12, 2009 Dang that sucks. Well you know it's always warm/hot in Texas, so the wetness was actually quite comfortable today. Quote Link to comment
Jithra Posted April 12, 2009 My younger brothers had a car wash they were going to do today for their Boy Scout troop, but it got rained out. Congrats though, on how much you guys made! Quote Link to comment
EmperorWhenua Posted April 12, 2009 Dang Texans. It's always unpredictable here in Oregon. We can get hail, snow, rain, sleet, wind and sun all in one day. ~EW~ Quote Link to comment

Lara White Posted April 12, 2009 Best way to make money for a fundraiser ever: Bake sale. Stake out in front of a bank on payday. Send some of your people to stand at the other entrances to the bank: each one will bring in roughly a hundred dollars, provided you resupply them when the run out. When you're in your last hour, reduce all prices to one dollar apiece. Five hundred bucks if you go it for five hours. I speak from experience. Quote Link to comment

That would work if we actually got permission from a bank to do that. We need fundraiser ideas though, so maybe I'll bring that up. Thx! Quote Link to comment
