I figured I'd put this here since a few people on my AIM list have been sending me requests to read and review their stories and fanfics and attempts to make an animated series(A friend of mine actually did try that once) and such. Not naming anyone, but they know who they are, and it's not anyone I frequent the blogs of.

So, without further ado, if you're reading this and thinking of sending me your Short Story to review or have done so in the past, first, knock it off, it gets annoying after the seventh time for me, and second, make sure you have the below "must-have"'s, or at least none of the things that will turn me away in an instant;

Must-have;

~Proper research.

~One or more themes I like.

~Little to no fanservice, unless it's the kind that makes you go "Awww...".

~Thought-out plot with little or no holes.

~Good music if there's sound.

~Quality acting or voiceacting if there is any.

~Likable, thought-out characters.

~A good sense of humour, preferably British or whatever you would call the humour style of the minds that thought up The Blues Brothers movie.

~At least two main characters and/or a set of incredibly important supporting characters.

Optional;

~Russians.

~Guns.

~Knives.

~The KGB.

~British accents.

~Russian accents.

~Canadians.

~Set in the 1990's.

~Explosions.

~Explosives.

~Having that one character that even the most sadistic *Censored* you could find would hate and giving them a human side. Optionally, instead or as well you can kill them off in a way that has the people that hate them cheering.

~Classic Rock.

Things that will turn me away in an instant;

~Offensive stereotypes.

~Bad accents.

~Gratuitous fanservice, not of the kind that makes you go "Awww...".

~Plotholes.

~One-dimensional characters.

~A protagonist who's the physical embodiment of everything a person of their gender, age, location, mindset and occupation could ask for.

~Bad soundtrack.

~Russia that's still USSR somehow.

~Factual inaccuracies.

So yes, give me a well-thought out story about a war between Russians shooting sword-wielding Brits while Canadians rain explosives on both of them set to Led Zeppelin or Kansas with humour thrown in and I will become a fanboy once more. But just abide to these to the twelve who have asked me so far. And please don't send me it multiple times. It gets done when it gets done, so please just wait for it to be done.
