The fanboys'll probably hate it. Because they are completely and totally crazy.

Though yeah, looking at the fact that they're working with Obsidian Games (aka, what's left of the guys who made the original games), they might be slightly placated.

I'm totally cool with it and a bit excited. Even if that was oddly quick.

If its a new console title... wow, that was really speedy.

I'm suspecting old fans won't like it because it'll probably be an improved, smaller version of Fallout 3.

They completely retconned the whole story by making the Lone Wanderer come back to life somehow. Why didn't they at least make a new character, they did it with the last three games, and there's no point to bringing him/her back.

They did it so that people could continue the story with their old characters and hopefully make a better ending. However Fallout New Vegas won't be related to the Fallout 3 storyline anymore than Fallout 2 was to Fallout Tactics.
