Ipods Suck Too

Now, when I update album art on iTunes, it doesn't show up on the iPod. -_-

I update some new ones, and the old ones disappear. >_>

[OK, now I changed the title 'coz Apple isn't that bad, only the iPod part of it. :P]

Presumably you are just updating the album art in iTunes and hopng it changes on the iPod. You actually have to update the art on your iPod too not just iTunes. Copy the updated songs over to your iPod after deleting the old ones and it will work.

Unless you have it to auto-sync checked. Then it should automatically check the songs to see if they are updated. If they are changed, iTunes will transfer the changes (like album art) to the iPod. (I believe. I don't use this though so I don't even.)

I update it, and then sync the iPod, and then when I check on the iPod, the newly updated album art is there, but most of the ones I had added before that disappear...

Ipods really do suck. :P I'd recommend a Sony Walkman, or something of the sort, if you have any of them where you live. :P

Too late now. :P

Well, did you Autofill your iPod after you updated the cover art?

(That's what my dad did, and it worked for him...)

:D

And iPods don't suck.

Yeah.

Why are you defending Apple so much? It's not a perfect company, and iPods aren't perfect products. They all have their flaws.

Delete the songs from your library with the album art that won't have their Album Art changed.

Sync the iPod.

Re-add the songs, add any Album Artwork before you sync it again.

Sync the iPod.

I tried it, but then some songs with album art lost their album art. :P

Meh, it's just album art. But it's still irritating. D:

My iPod Touch is exactly the same. On mine, it doesn't just disappear, it gets replaced with a big ugly black square. It's fine once you plug it back in to the computer and replace the artwork on iTunes, but it's really annoying - surely if you put the artwork on there once, it should stay on there forever? :(

Because the flaws you point out don't make Apple suck.

They do make it suck for me. I didn't say 'everyone should think Apple sucks because this happened to me.'
