So I just saw the trailer for District 9, and I can say with confidence that the Halo movie will be made very soon.

I about asploded when I saw the effects.

IDK if I want to see it yet, but it does look quite different and interesting.

Blomkamp was gonna make the Halo movie (with Jackson producing), but they couldn't get funding because (I think) all the studios were afraid to let some newbie director touch as story that has to be handled so delicately as Halo. So Jackson and Blomkamp are just like "kk we'll make our own movie and show you how awesome we are yeah"

Lol, I knew a little bit about Halo, but nothing about the story.

 

But when I read the summary on a Halo wiki, I realized how movie-worthy it really is.

 

That's also when I realized:

Sgt. Johnson dies. I was in awe. I knew who he was and stuff, but I didn't think he would be killed off.

 

Also, it should be made into a trilogy, to preserve the story arcs of the games.
