I think the bomb doesn't "fix everything," it's just a normal explosion.

The explosion breaks the statue, and the radiation is why women can't give birth. Well, that's my theory, at least.

You have to diligently watch every episode, in order. It's a time consuming show. The first few seasons are meh, too.

Locke isn't the smoek monstar. That's what I thought at first too. He's the guy from the beach with Jacob at the beginning. Remember, he said he was gonna kill Jacob, and then Jacob said something about a loophole? And then when "Locke" came to him he said something like "well, you've found your final loophole?'. Also they knew each other, right?

But who's to say that guy isn't Cerebus/Smoke Monster?

 

He did have black hair and black clothes, and the smoke monster commonly appears as people, only wearing black.

 

Charlie, for example. At the mental facility with Hurley? The guy behind Hurley saw him, too.

 

Therefore he had to be real, not a hallucination.

 

It could be Cerebus is a DHARMA experiment that went through time back when Jacob was on the island.

BTW, the statue is of the Eqyptian god "Horus", "coincidentally" the name of the DHARMA worker who had directions in his pocket to Jacob's Cabin.
